This is a rare item. 3-pin connectors are getting more and more popular to provide dc power directly from motherboards to devices such as CPU fans and case fans. Devices connected directly to the motherboard allows "smart" functions such as temperature sensing and automatic speed adjustment.

Specifications: End-to-end female-to-male length for extension: 4.4". Male-to-male length as gender changer: 8". 3-wire cables.
