Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Policy

Return Handling

Here at Directron, we understand that mistakes can happen; either by accidentally purchasing the wrong item or receiving a defective item. Therefore, we want to make it easy for customers to make returns, exchanges, and refunds as fast as possible. Unlike other large online retailers, if there is any problem with your order and you contact us within 7 business days, we will issue you a free return shipping label. Some restrictions may apply. This includes returns, exchanges, and refunds for cases, systems, high quantity orders, and large volume items (this list is not inclusive). Additionally, if you want to exchange your order we will gladly ship you a replacement immediately and give you a free return shipping label for the accidental or defective item. For cross shipping, we must charge for the merchandise being shipped. A refund for the original order will be issued upon receipt of the original item. Shipping labels are only provided within the continental United States.

Please read the Warranty Policy first before sending items back to us. If you believe that the product you received is defective and your warranty has not expired, please visit your My Account page to submit an RMA request. If you placed an order as a guest please visit our Orders and Returns page. Submitting an RMA through our system will allow all parties to track your return process much easier and faster. Your return request will be reviewed and the status will be updated. You can check your return status through your My Returns page in your Account. Once approved, you can pack the defective item(s) very well with all the original packaging and supporting materials such as cables, manuals, and drivers. Please also include a copy of the original invoice and a copy of the RMA Authorization. Customers may be eligible for free return shipping if it is within 7 business days upon the delivery date of your defective / wrongfully shipped order. Customer must package the products properly. Directron is not responsible for any damage to the products during transit by the shipping company. Damaged items are not eligible for warranty or the money back guarantee. All electronic parts should be wrapped in anti-static plastic bags and shock-resistant bubble-wrap. There should be at least one inch of cushioning material such as packing peanuts or crumpled newspaper between the item and the walls of the box.

We suggest that customers obtain a receipt for any packages shipped back to us. Directron is not responsible for any package lost during shipping.

Exchange and Cross-Shipping

If you want to exchange your order we will gladly ship you a replacement immediately and give you a free return shipping label for the accidental or defective item. Orders must be in new and unopened condition. Customers must contact our customer service hotline at: 1-888-582-1834 within the first 7 business days after delivery date of their item to qualify. Customers are given 30 days to return their unwanted or defective item. Customers first must agree to an authorization on their credit card account for the amount of the items being replaced. Once we receive the item, we will refund you what was authorized.

Directron is responsible for the cost of shipping the replaced item back to customers via UPS Ground. Customer will be responsible for upgrades to UPS Next-day air, 2nd-day air, or 3-day select.
